Hayes End Worship Area Project - In Brief

This will be the first major upgrade to our worship area since the church was built 74 years ago.

The reasons:
Allow more flexibility for different styles of worship
To improve accessibility for less mobile members of congregation and be more inclusive
To remove some of the safety issues with the raised pew areas and audio/video equipment
To provide a more comfortable setting for worship

The plans:

Level the floor area and fit new carpets
Replace the overhead electric heaters with gas floor heaters

Redecorate the worship area

Fundraising events

When will it happen:
The work starts in early June (after the Flower Festival) and we plan to be using the worship area again by the end of September (for Harvest Festival Weekend).

The cost:
Present estimate is around £125,000. We currently have a shortfall of around £15,000 but have faith that this will be raised in time. Can you help?
